With God’s help and the guidance of the Church Administration, sportsmanship and camaraderie shone among brethren in the Ecclesiastical District of Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, as they participated in the INC Unity Games district finals. The activity was held at Dr. Jose Lapuz Salonga Coliseum in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, from June 12 to 19, 2022.

On an opening day, a color parade of the nine clusters, namely Sta. Rosa, Jaen, Zaragoza, Gen. Tinio, San Isidro, Cabiao, Gapan, San Antonio, and San Leonardo transpired. The participants then took the oath of sportsmanship led by Brother Pastor Parale II, the district CFO overseer. That day and the following days, the brethren competed in basketball, volleyball, and individual sports such as badminton, and board games like chess, checkers, Game of the Generals, and Scrabble.

“Joining this activity is a great privilege,” said Jeremy Ador Dionisio, a Binhi officer. “Whether we win or lose in the game, the important is that we showed our unity with the Church Administration and followed God’s command.”

“This Unity Games strengthened our faith as young members of the Church,” said Darlene Gonzales, a KADIWA officer. “This allowed us to bond with our brethren in our organization.”

Tito Atazar, a Buklod officer, said that leading his family in the activity teaches them that “the active participation in the Unity Games makes us physically active and strengthens our faith.” — With reports from INC News Section
