One with the Church Administration in caring for their fellowmen in this time of pandemic crisis, Iglesia Ni Cristo members from the Local Congregation of Sta. Ignacia, Ecclesiastical District of Paniqui, Tarlac reached out to their townmates through Lingap sa Mamamayan (Aid to Humanity) on June 13, 2021.
This was held simultaneously in five different venues in order to extend help to the maximum number of people but without neglecting the government-implemented health and safety protocols.
Brother Ernesto Bartolome Sr., the congregation’s resident minister, led the brethren in handing out goodwill bags to the recipients in their respective houses. “We do this in unity with the Church Administration in the project they launched, that is, the Lingap sa Mamamayan. This is based on the commandment of God to love their fellowmen by helping them, such as in times of calamities, or in dire need.”
Together with her family, Joselyn Cainglet, choir member, participated in this Church activity. She said, “Me and my whole family are delighted whenever we unite with the Church Administration, such as in this humanitarian aid to our fellowmen.”
