On March 19, 2021, Church membership increased in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija Ecclesiastical District as a baptism was conducted at the San Isidro Local Congregation’s house of worship.

Among those newly baptized was Allvyrin Dizon whose being deaf did not hinder her to become a member of the Church. Through the help of the sign language interpreters, she was enlightened by the truths or words of God that encouraged her to pursue her membership.

“I felt blessed and I couldn’t be prouder to be a member of the Church Of Christ,” she expressed.

Also among the converts baptized was a former Catholic for 45 years, Benedicto Yalung, who related how he was encouraged to join the Church Of Christ:

“When I was attending the worship services and Bible studies in the Church Of Christ, I clearly saw the distinctiveness of its teachings. The doctrines are explained well and based from the Bible unlike my former religion.”

Led by Brother Daniel Llagas Sr., district supervising minister, the candidates for baptism were taught the biblical teaching about valuing one’s membership inside the Church Of Christ to receive eternal life in the Holy City. — With reports from INC News Section
