In commemoration of the 48th anniversary of the KADIWA and Binhi organizations, the Ecclesiastical District of Sultan Kudarat, in Mindanao, Philippines, held a special gathering for the youth on October 16, 2021.

The house of worship of the Local Congregation of Isulan served as the host site while the house of worship of other local congregations in the district connected through videoconferencing. The KADIWA and Binhi members of these local congregations attended the said gathering in their respective houses of worship.

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Alfredo Rodriguez, district supervising minister, exhorted the young members about the importance of obedience to the Lord God.

“It was explained to us the importance of fulfilling our duties in the Church, the proper use of social media, and choosing our friends,” Odilone Ordonez, KADIWA president in Isulan Local Congregation, said.

Through gatherings like this, the Church Administration continues to teach the youth in the Church so that they would triumph not only in life but also in safeguarding their divine election.

“We will only succeed if we know the teachings of the Lord God, … that is what we should follow,” said Daniela Bautista, a secretary in the Local Congregation of Pablo Co. — With reports from INC News Section
