The Ecclesiastical District of Sultan Kudarat extended a helping hand to the residents of Barangay Daguma, Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines on August 31, 2021.

The village was one of the hardest hit by recent flash floods due to torrential rains, which damaged a number of houses and displaced families.

The Aid to Humanity event took place at the compound of the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Daguma.

“This is a big help for our family,” said Rodolfo Perez, one of the recipients.

“We thank, first of all, our Almighty God. We also thank the Church Administration He placed in the Church that sends aid to our brethren here in our local congregation afflicted by this flooding,” said Brother Gamaliel Cueva, resident minister, on behalf of the congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
