In the said activity, three Buklod couples representing each of the three clusters within the district, which are Taipei, Taoyuan and Hsinchu, competed for the honor of being declared Mr. & Mrs. Chef. Before a set of judges, they demonstrated their culinary skills in preparing a delectable and nutritious recipe using low-cost ingredients within a short period of time.
Lance and Minia Dy, from the Local Congregation of Linkou Central of Taipei cluster, was announced champion after the evaluation. They presented “toast with seafood spread” for appetizer, “crab relleno” for the main dish, and “banana ube cheese delight” for dessert.
