The Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan held a special gathering through videoconferencing on November 24, 2020 to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) to thank and praise the Lord for His abiding guidance to the organization.

Brother Julius Caezar Santiago, Christian Family Organizations (CFO) district overseer, officiated at the sacred gathering from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Zhubei as the host site.

The CWS members were accompanied by their parents as they attended the gathering in the comforts of their homes. The CWS officers tasked to help the Church Administration and the parents in caring for their children’s spiritual welfare were also in attendance.

In his Bible-based lesson, Brother Santiago reminded the parents and Church officers the great importance of their responsibilities in raising the children to become faithful and steadfast Christians.

“A meaningful way of thanking our Lord God in commemoration of the 102nd anniversary of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS), this special gathering reminded the parents, the CWS officers as well as the youth brethren to hold on firmly to the words of our Lord God for us to be strong, not to be defeated by the enemy of our faith no matter what this world has to offer and no matter what the situation of life may be,” Brother Julius said in an interview after the occasion.

Joanna Pauline Ramirez, a CWS officer, said, “We were reminded of the importance of our Church duties in leading the young members of the Church. We thank the Church Administration for despite the pandemic there are special gatherings such us this that edify us.”

“We, officers and the parents, benefited from the preaching of God’s words that strengthens us in our faith to fulfill our Church duties, one of which is to care for the young members,” Robby De Ocampo, CWS teacher, added.

The CWS was established by Brother Felix Y. Manalo, God’s Messenger in these last days, during the pioneering years of the Church Of Christ. Through it, young members of the Church Of Christ are taught God’s words as well us good manners befitting Christian youth. — With reports from INC News Section
