The unified efforts of the brethren in the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan in sharing the true faith has resulted in more people joining the Church Of Christ. Thus, a holy baptism was held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Zhongli on March 28, 2021.

The baptismal candidates, together with the brethren who were instrumental in their conversion, arrived safely at the venue prior the appointed time, strictly adhering to health protocols the whole duration of the sacred occasion.

During the study of God’s words in the Bible, Brother Ranilo Borrero, assistant district supervising minister, expounded on the great importance of actively serving and worshiping God no matter what. By remaining inside the Church until the end, he advised the would-be members, they will be certain of receiving eternal life in the Holy City.

Among those who were baptized is Chen Kun-Yuan, a Taiwanese, now enlisted at the Tanzi Local Congregation. Convinced with God’s teachings taught to him since during Bible studies, he said, “I joined the Church Of Christ because I want to serve the true God, and most especially, be saved when the Day of Judgment comes.”

Right after they received their holy baptism, they were welcomed through a “Welcome, My Brethren” activity to bond with their fellow brethren and further strengthen their faith and zealousness in serving the Lord God. The get-together activity was led by the district supervising minister, Brother Mayonel Taal and was held at the function hall of the said congregation’s house of worship. — With reports from INC News Section
