Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan, who are long-time residents in the country, spearheaded a seminar wherein they answered frequently-asked-questions raised by brethren who are new in the country.

The seminar, conducted on July 31, 2020 through videoconferencing, aimed to help the brethren understand their rights and benefits as foreign residents and workers in Taiwan.

Some participants related that they experienced difficulty in reading road signages, service instructions, and government websites as majority of these are written in Mandarin.

“In this seminar, our questions were answered such as about the law and our privileges as workers here in Taiwan. This is helpful to us in living and working efficiently in our workplaces,” Rex Racoma, from the Local Congregation of Longtan, said.

Expressing the collective sentiment of the brethren for feeling the love and care of the Church Administration through the activity, he added, “We thank the Church Administration for activities like this and we promise to always unite with the works in the Church.” ― With reports from INC News Section
