Moved by their desire to help their fellowmen, Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan led their fellow brethren from Central Taiwan in participating in a blood donation activity at Taichung City on August 15, 2021.

The resident minister from the Local Congregation of Tunghai, Longjing, Brother Bernardino Linchoco, oversaw the event. “Uniting with activities like this is our obedience to God’s command of helping our fellowmen in need,” he said.

Cristina Dooc, Church officer, said, “This is my first time donating blood. I felt nervous and excited at the same time, excited to be of help to my fellowmen this way.”

Blood donation drives have been a part of the social outreach activities of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for decades now and it is carried out in many of its ecclesiastical districts and local congregations all over the world. — With reports from INC News Section
