Doing their part in the Church’s online propagation of the faith amid the pandemic, Church members from the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan South continued to increase in membership, yielding yet another Group Worship Service (GWS).
On August 7, 2020, the brethren that would make up the Kenting GWS attended its inaugural worship service held at No. 65, Longquan Road, Hengchun Township, Pintung City, Taiwan. They made sure to have followed the government-imposed health measures so as not to be infected with Covid-19.
The worship service was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Roel O. Castillo. He emphasized the importance of worshiping the Lord God and uniting with the Church Administration at all times.
With the need for some brethren to travel for two hours to get to the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Qianzhen, the Kenting GWS was realized.
Thankful for being part of the momentous occasion, Aristotle Pacis, deacon, said, “The establishment of this GWS is a significant way to better oversee the brethren and to all the more propagate the words of our Almighty God. Being blessed with a closer supervision like this, we can now all the more be able to unite in the Church activities.” ― With reports from INC News Section
