The talented contestants from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Macau impressed both the panel of judges and the audience during the Songs of Faith, Love, and Hope (SOFLAH) KADIWA Edition held on August 21, 2022.

One of the Christian Family Organization’s (CFO) cultural programs periodically conducted at multiple levels, e.g. district, international; and editions, e.g., KADIWA, Binhi, SOFLAH is a singing competition that gives a chance for vocally talented members a chance to showcase their talent through renditions of original INC music.

Brother Shandrick Earl Ang, the district CFO overseer, explained that for the said SOFLAH edition, the organizers—the KADIWA district leadership—“set two categories—solo and group singing.”

Jan Adrian Hernandez, from the Macau Local Congregation, who sang Ilapit Mo (a song about prayer to God), and the group from the same congregation, with their rendition of “Share It With The World,” won first place in the solo and group competition, respectively.

“It was one of the delightful moments of my life and I was so honored to join this activity,” Jan Adrian said.

Brother Celestino Bacsafra, the district supervising minister, commented, “It was fulfilling to see the brethren’s active participation in this competition.” — With reports from INC News Section
