With God’s guidance, not only new ecclesiastical districts and local congregations are established worldwide. In places where it is possible, local congregations of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) establish extensions in places closer to the homes of the brethren. This is the case with the Local Congregation of Calasiao, Pangasinan in the Philippines which recently established the Talibaew Extension. The brethren there held its first worship service on August 11, 2021, which was officiated by Brother Roselito Carlos, the district supervising minister.
“We are thankful [to our Lord God] for having an extension in our barangay [village]. We will intensify our zeal in serving God and we will invite more people who will also worship the true God,” Loreta Caoile, a finance officer, said.
“We thank our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, because he approved the establishment of an extension here in Talibaew. We will take care of this and we will continue to unite with the Church Administration in propagating the words of our Lord God,” Brother Fred Valdez, resident ministerial worker, said.
The extension’s place of worship is located at Barangay Talibaew, Municipality of Calasiao, about three kilometers away from the Calasiao Local Congregation’s house of worship. Pangasinan province was under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) during the holy service. — With reports from INC News Section
