In commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Local Congregation of Tapi, Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, the brethren opted to share their faith to their fellowmen through a Pasugo drive and an evangelical mission both held on November 19, 2021.

Early on that day, Church officers and brethren, led by the resident ministerial worker, Brother Dave Ariguin, handed out copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine to their friends and relatives, including other the residents of Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

Together with her family, Sharon Apostolero, a deaconess, was glad to be part of the activity. “It is our desire to share the words of God to our friends who are not yet members of the Church so they will know more about the Church Of Christ,” she said.

Later in the day, the brethren accompanied their guests to the evangelical mission held at the congregation’s house of worship. The brethren were glad to see that most of the recipients of the Pasugo magazines they handed out earlier that day decided to attend and listen to the words of God. The evangelical mission started with a video presentation in which some of the fundamental beliefs that the Church upholds were shown. Afterwards, a short biblical lesson about the importance of the Church Of Christ in attaining salvation was taught by Brother Ariguin.

Despite her busy schedule as a public school teacher, Joie Paglumotan, a secretariat officer, eagerly participated in the said activities. She said, “I hope that many of them [guests] will come to the knowledge of the truth so they will receive salvation on Judgment Day.”

“We thank our Lord God for He granted success in our activities in commemoration of our congregation’s anniversary. We will strive to further invite our guests to Bible studies and worship services,” said Brother Ariguin. — With reports from INC News Section
