The Ecclesiastical District of Capas, Tarlac in the Philippines were blessed with additional Church officers in a special gathering held at the house of worship of Local Congregation of Capas on January 30, 2021.

As Church members in the district increased with past baptisms, the district leadership encouraged the brethren to receive duties to care for the growing flock.

Among those who took oath was Gaylord Rodriguez, an active member from the Local Congregation of Capas, who have invited many people to listen to the teachings preached in the Church Of Christ.

“I accepted this Church duty because this is a blessing from the Lord God. I promise to fulfill this wholeheartedly,” said the newly sworn-in deaconess.

Brother Mauro Balintag, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gathering. He emphasized to the Church officers the value of their duties that they have sworn before God.

With the words of God they heard, the Church officers received further strength and inspiration in fulfilling their duties.

Alexis Dimaandal, head deacon of Capas Local Congregation, expressing the collective promise of the brethren, said, “We will help and participate in all the activities and works in the Church, especially in the more intensified propagation of the gospel. We will encourage the brethren to bear fruits of holiness that will please our Lord God.” ― With reports from INC News Section
