Just in time for the celebration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) of its 107th anniversary, the Local Congregation of Tarlac City, Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Philippines treated the new and prospective members to an online “Welcome, My Brethren” activity on July 25, 2021.

Church officers led the brethren, who also invited guests, in watching musical performances featuring Iglesia Ni Cristo original pieces by brethren performers of the Iglesia Ni Cristo Production Company.

The musical numbers highlighted various endeavors of the Church. In between performances, video-presentations on the Church’s recent accomplishments like houses of worship built, ministerial students and ministers of the gospel added, and fellowmen helped through Aid To Humanity, were shown.

“This ‘Welcome, My Brethren’ is the local congregation’s response to the activities launched by the Church Administration, also in the intensified propagation of the gospel. This also aims that those who were invited in past evangelical missions—in the Executive News Special Feature with preaching of our Lord God’s words—be welcomed in the Church Of Christ,” Brother Marvin Querubin, resident minister, said.

“I understood that, even though I am still a prospective member, inviting people [to the true Church Of Christ] and helping in the work of propagation is our Lord God’s will that should be fulfilled. As proof, I was able to invite my wife who is now in the process of joining the Church,” George Kimber Palagnas, a prospective member, said.

“I was formerly a ‘born again’ Christian, I long for worship services, I found it in the Church Of Christ and also the truth,” said Elham Joy Palagnas, wife of George and also a prospective member. — With reports from INC News Section
