To provide brethren with valuable insights that can save their lives from animal bite infection, the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) leadership in the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand held a webinar on rabies awareness on September 20, 2021.
The activity was conducted through videoconferencing. The brethren in various local congregations attended from their homes.
CMDPS district president, Arren Calleja, a nurse and certified polysomnographic technologist, facilitated the webinar. He prepared a video presentation tackling the causes, signs, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of rabies.
After the presentation, a question-and-answer followed wherein Marra Gabatino and Cherry Rose Riñoza, both registered nurses and CMDPS officers, answered the brethren’s queries about rabies, as well as other health concerns.
“It’s a good thing to share with our brethren information about this topic,” said Gabatino, “because we believe that their health and their safety is one of the most important things to be cared for during these challenging times.”
“I am thankful to all CMDPS officers, as well as to the Church Administration,” said Elsan Rose Tariman, a Church officer from the Local Congregation of Bangna, “because, through such activity, we learned useful information on how to take care of our health.” ― With reports from INC News Section
