“Our hearts are filled with joy. After two years, we’re able to hold the Unity Games.”

Thus remarked Brother Willen Regalado, district supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand as he expressed the excitement and joy of the brethren to once again get together face-to-face for the Church’s sports event. “This kind of activity helps strengthen the bond of the Christian brotherhood and fosters unity among the brethren in conducting other Church endeavors,” he further said.

On April 13, 2022, brethren from various local congregations in Thailand—of Bangkapi, Bangkhae, Bangkok, Bangna, Rangsit, and Phuket, among others—gathered at the Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University in Thailand to participate in their district’s INC Unity Games.

Organized by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) as part of the series of activities celebrating the district’s 8th anniversary, Thailand District’s Unity Games gave a chance for Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi members to have friendly competitions in volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, among others.

“After the opening prayer and the welcome remarks, all participants took an oath of sportsmanship. Right after, facilitators led us in warm-up exercises before the actual games,” Brother Junie Alarin, CFO District Overseer, said.

“We are so thankful to the Church Administration for launching this kind of activity,” said Joselito Mangabat, a Buklod member from Rayong Group Worship Service (GWS). “When we heard that our district will hold INC Unity Games, we were thrilled, we were excited.” — With reports from INC News Section
