On April 24, 2022, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO)-sponsored activity dubbed “The KADIWA Invitation” brought together KADIWA district presidents and other officers from the various ecclesiastical districts in the Philippines to The Garden, within the Ciudad de Victoria Complex, in Bocaue, Bulacan.
Present were the district president and officer delegates in various ecclesiastical districts in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Before the activity proper, the participants assembled in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Ciudad de Victoria, Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan South, to receive reminders about the activity.
“The delegates brought their vaccination cards and observed the health and safety protocols, especially the wearing of facemask at all times,” said Justin Bolus, a member of the organizing committee.
“I had a euphoric feeling because of the various activities prepared for us,” said Mara Joyce Etchepari, one of the delegates. “I also made new friends from various districts, and we were happy to share our own experiences about leadership. We also had a chance to talk about strategies that we can use in performing our Church duties.”
“It was a wonderful experience to meet other KADIWA district presidents from all over the country,” said Tollie Mar Garcia, the KADIWA district president of Benguet. “We shared various problem solving ideas about our organization’s activities. I find this activity beneficial.”
“The meet-and-greet and the dinner afterwards made an impression on me,” said Jee Lopez, the KADIWA district president of Davao City. “I met new friends from various ecclesiastical districts. It is a memorable experience for me.” — With reports from INC News Section
