The Christian Family Organizations (CFO)-sponsored “This is KADIWA” activity of the Ecclesiastical District of Northwest California brought excitement and fun to the attendees. It was held on May 1, 2022 in the Local Congregation of Fremont and was attended by KADIWA members from various local congregations in the district.

“Today’s activity is our first big in-person activity of the year. We gave the single members activities to do; social challenges to get them out there and to experience meeting new people,” said Shawna Domingo, district KADIWA officer from San Leandro Local Congregation.

The activity gave the KADIWA members opportunity to know one another as several games were facilitated throughout the day. There were also activity booths set up for brethren having the same hobbies and interest.

“With the ongoing pandemic … it’s important that all the KADIWA members are strong in our faith. It’s also important to strengthen the bond of brotherhood,” said Neo Diesta, a KADIWA member from Castro Valley Local Congregation.

“The importance of this activity is, first and foremost, to give honor and glory to our Lord God. Other aims are to give the KADIWA members an opportunity to bond with each other, play, have fun, find more friends, strengthen their faith, give them the chance to show their appreciation with one another, and share their thoughts and feelings,” Brother Melvin Bayangoan, the district CFO overseer, said. — With reports from INC News Section
