The Picture Frame-Making activity that the Local Congregation of Tibagan, Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac, in the Philippines, held on February 26, 2023 kindled creativity among its Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members.

The children made decorative picture frames using recycled popsicle sticks. Thus, aside from bringing out their creative sense, their bond of brotherhood was strengthened, and the CWS officers, who supervised the activity, also promoted environmental awareness.

“The children were so joyful while making their own handicrafts,” attested John Louie Navarro, CWS congregation president.

“I came to understand that old materials should not be discarded immediately. Just like these popsicle sticks, I can make artistic projects out of it. Look at the picture frames we’ve just made,” gaily said Maridelsa Maryz Gamboa, CWS member. — With reports from INC News Section
