On January 17, 2023, the evangelical mission that the Ecclesiastical District of Tokyo, Japan hosted at the Municipal Community Life in Ota City, Tokyo enlightened guests with Bible-based teachings being upheld in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

The Church members all over the district invited many of their colleagues, relatives, and friends. One of them, Eden Koto, an English teacher from Yamanashi City, observed, “The teachings [of God] presented to us were read straight from the Bible. Every word was really lifted from the Bible. So, I could say that what they taught to us were not opinionated.”

Brother Amante Rodriguez, district supervising minister, led the proclamation of God’s words, during which he highlighted the proper way of serving the Lord God, as what the Bible teaches, to attain salvation.

The brethren’s unified efforts in sharing their faith, with God’s help, resulted in a significant turn out of guests, which was also noted by Brother Rodriguez after the event.

“The brethren’s willingness to unite with the evangelical mission was evident,” he attested. “Despite their hectic schedules, they came to participate. They never hold back their time to dedicate themselves to the work of propagation.”

James Raagas from the Shinagawa Congregation, expressed, “It was inspiring to see how the guests enjoyed attending the evangelical mission. As a Church officer performing in such activities, I’m very glad and honored.”

As their way of thanks, brethren prepared some refreshments and care packages for their guests.

“We thank the Lord God for granting us success in the recently held evangelical mission. We also thank Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, for his guidance as we unite in the intensive work of propagation,” Brother Rodriguez enthused. — With reports from INC News Section
