“It has been almost five months since we last saw each other in person,” said Sister Gemma Magbanua, KADIWA president of the Local Congregation of Toufen City, Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan. “It made us so happy hearing the news that Covid cases are subsiding and hence the lowering of the [Covid restrictions] alert level.”
Making sure to follow the minimum health and safety protocols being implemented at the area, together with her fellow brethren in the said local congregation, she attended the KADIWA bonding activity held at Zhunan Township Park, Miaoli County on November 20, 2021.
The youth organization’s leadership prepared a series of group games including balloon relay, “island hopping,” and message relay, that the attendees gamely participated in. The said activity was a much-needed respite of the brethren from their long hours of work, “making us feel more energetic, while improving camaraderie,” Magbanua added.
On behalf of her fellow youth, she said, “This activity inspires us to be more active in fulfilling our Church duties. We may be met with hurdles, but we will uphold devotional prayers, always trusting God.” — With reports from INC News Section
