Through a “Tribute To Parents” activity facilitated by the local leadership of the Taipa Congregation, Ecclesiastical District of Macau, parents enlisted in the local congregation, most of whom are Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and are far from home, felt the love of their children who are in the Philippines. The activity was held in the place of worship on September 19, 2021.

Days prior to the activity, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers contacted the families of the brethren and informed them about the activity. Their efforts paid off as the activity saw parents connecting with their respective families in the Philippines through videoconferencing.

On top of the online games, song numbers, and slide show presentations of family photos of the brethren, what delighted the parents the most were the messages of appreciation and greetings of their children that were shown in the video presentation prepared for the activity.

Towards the end of the activity, KADIWA members proffered flower bouquets to the parents in attendance as an expression of the heartfelt appreciation for all their hard work for their respective families.

Brother Roly Tuazon, resident minister, wrapped up the activity by reminding the parents, mostly mothers, through a biblical lecture that with God’s help, they can continue to support their families and uphold their active services to God. — With reports from INC News Section
