Complying with God’s will to make known His message of salvation to all and sundry, Church members from Sarangani and General Santos City, South Cotabato Ecclesiastical Districts in Central Mindanao, Philippines, invited their loved ones and friends who are deaf to an evangelical mission intended for them.

The invitees watched the episode “Evangelical Mission for the Deaf” of the religious program “RECONNECT” aired over INCTV on February 22, 2021.

In the said religious program, they learned the true and only way to salvation through the Bible-based lesson preached by Brother Edwil Zabala, a minister of the gospel. It was interpreted into Sign Language by another minister, Brother Alexander Castillo.

While the episode was intended mainly for the benefit of the Deaf, the brethren from Sarangani and General Santos City, South Cotabato also took the opportunity to invite other people, especially their loved ones, to watch and witness also the proclamation of God’s truth for their spiritual welfare.

Ian Jay Lade, a Church member from the Deaf community in Sarangani, said in Sign Language, “I invited my friends who are also in the Deaf community to learn God’s commandments we uphold in the Church.” This way, he hoped that they, too, be called into the Church Of Christ and be saved on Judgment Day. — With reports from INC News Section
