In Marinduque, an island province in Southern Luzon, Philippines, home to 28 local congregations of the Church Of Christ, two consecutive baptisms were held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Boac on January 29, 2022.  One was held in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

From various local congregation in the district, the candidates for baptism, together with the brethren instrumental in their conversion to the Church, received further religious instruction during the service which they also took their oath of membership prior to their baptism. Brother Gerson Bernisca, assistant district supervising minister, led both of the gatherings.

In an interview, Brother Bernisca thanked the Lord God for granting success to the Marinduque District in the Church’s work of propagating the pure gospel of salvation. “We firmly believe that with the help of God, together with the unity of the ministers, ministerial workers, brethren, and the Church officers, the district will continue to reap successes in sharing our faith to many people,” he said. — With reports from INC News Section
