When used properly, social media plays a vital role to connect individuals, learn new ideas, share information, among others. Church Of Christ members use it for a much nobler purpose—propagating the words of God to many people all over the world as commanded by God.

Julius Campo, a newly baptized member, shared how he was called through the Church’s official Youtube channel: “As I watched the videos shared to me, I learned more about the Church Of Christ. I was convinced that it is the true Church. So, I was encouraged to join and become a member of it.”

On June 25, 2021, Julius, along with other prospective members, finally received a great blessing from the Almighty God through the holy baptism by the Ecclesiastical District of Capas, Tarlac. That day, two consecutive baptisms were held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Capas, during which health and safety protocols were observed.

Prior to the baptismal proper, the candidates for baptism learned through the biblical preaching of the officiating ministers that they must strongly hold on to their divine election, despite world’s worsening condition so that they can be certain of salvation on Judgment Day.

Brother Mauro Balintag, district supervising minister, led the sacred occasion of the first schedule of baptism while the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Joselito Canlas, officiated later that day.

Clarinda Magtoto, a Church member from the Dapdap Congregation and whose propagational efforts bore fruit on that day, said, “In order to survive, one doesn’t only need material wealth but, most importantly, the words of God to be saved. That is why I strive to share my faith to many people as I can.”

With such strong conviction held by Iglesia Ni Cristo members, Brother Mike Arjay Muñoz, a ministerial worker, said, “We will continue to proclaim the Good News of salvation to many people and we will always be of help to the Church Administration in the intensified works of propagation.” — With reports from INC News Section
