On August 7, 2022, the competitions Songs of Salvation-Buklod Edition and Songs of Faith, Love and Hope-KADIWA Edition, both hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South, culminated during a program held at Teatro Italia in Rome, Italy.

The choral group from the Local Congregation of Rome emerged as champion in the Songs of Salvation. Meanwhile, in the Songs of Faith, Love and Hope, Jenny Ann Manuel, from Rome Local Congregation, and Elsie Jeline Aquino, from Lucca Congregation, tied in the first place.

Brothers Randy Macalinao and Vizar Balcita, district and assistant supervising ministers, respectively, handed the awards to the winners.

“I’m happy being one of the contestants in this activity and I thank the Almighty Father for helping me in my performance,” Jenny said.

“We thank the Lord God and the Church Administration for this activity. After more than two years of this pandemic, the brethren were able to gather for this activity. This is the first-of-its-kind in the district after the lockdowns,” Brother Michael Pineda, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, said. “We saw how glad the brethren were.” — With reports from INC News Section
