The awaited moment finally came for the prospective members in the ecclesiastical districts of Nueva Vizcaya and Ilocos Sur in the Philippines. On November 27 and 28, 2020, they received their holy baptism into the Church Of Christ.

Nueva Vizcaya’s district supervising minister, Brother Ildefonso Tarray, officiated the holy gathering at the house of worship of Lagawe Local Congregation, while the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Federico Ramos, led the baptism at Bagabag Local Congregation’s house of worship on November 27. The next day, November 28, , another baptism was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sto. Domingo officiated by Brother Ramos.

In Ilocos Sur Ecclesiastical District, a series of baptisms were also held at the house of worship of Narvacan Local Congregation that yielded increase in Church membership. On November 27, the district supervising minister, Brother Manuel Santos, officiated the baptism of new members at 9:00 in the morning and 3:00 in the afternoon. The following day, November 28, with the same schedule, Brother Eduardo Donato Jr., assistant district supervising minister, led the holy gathering.

Strict compliance to the health protocols were observed throughout the duration of the events.

The newly baptized members were the fruits of the propagation efforts of the Church members despite the pandemic. They were the guests from the series of evangelical missions conducted in their respective districts whom the brethren have ushered until the day of their baptism.

The brethren who were interviewed said that they will continue to invite more people to attend to the evangelical missions so they too can also understand the biblical teachings upheld in the Church Of Christ and also have the hope of promised salvation on Judgment Day when they decide to join the Church.― With reports from INC News Section
