On March 14, 2021, the Christian Employees Association (CEA) in the Ecclesiastical District of United Kingdom held a professional development webinar.

Led by the district supervising minister, Brother Glenn Gomez, the online event was attended by brethren across the district who are currently employed as well as those who are seeking for employment.

The guest speaker, Brother Michael Vino Angelo Paras, Heathrow, London Congregation’s Technical Support for Video streaming (TSV) officer and Cisco senior infrastructure engineer, discussed about professional online presence and why it is a must-have for job-seekers. He provided tips on how to create, manage, and maintain a strong online presence through various platforms, which was then followed by a question-and-answer portion. About integrity, he said that “even our professional profile must reflect this … write it with accuracy and honesty.”

More importantly, Brother Paras highlighted: “As a reminder, we are Christians. As the Church Administration always reminds us, we follow the Christian culture wherever we may be.” The webinar concluded with a Bible-based lecture by Brother Glenn Gomez on how to achieve real success.

Some participants said that through the webinar, they were able to learn new skills and their love of brotherhood was once again strengthened. — With reports from INC News Section
