For the first time since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ecclesiastical District of Bohol recently conducted the INC Unity Games, bringing the brethren cheer and further edifying their bond of brotherhood. The multi-event activity was held on November 19, 2022 at the Bilar Sports and Cultural Center.

“The brethren were obviously overjoyed about the Unity Games, especially that it has been a while since this sports event was held in the district. This served as a bonding activity for the brethren, and a meet-and-greet at the same time,” said Brother Nestor Acuzar, assistant district supervising minister, who was present in the activity.

The Unity Games began with a parade of delegates in their sports attire. After the oath of sportsmanship was administered, matches in basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis were facilitated by officers in the Christian Family Organizations (CFO). Tournaments in chess and other board games were also held.

“Such an activity helps us to become more physically fit. More importantly, participating in it shows our unity with the Church Administration,” said Brother Emilio Macabuag III, a ministerial worker assigned in the Catagbacan Extension. — With reports from INC News Section
