As part of their commemoration of the tenth anniversary of UNLAD, its personnel from the garment factory in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija spearheaded evangelical missions in eight local congregations in the Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija District on March 7, 2023 to proclaim the true words of God.

The acronym UNLAD (a Filipino word meaning progress or development) stands for Unified Livelihood Advocacy for Development International, Inc., a socio-civic and livelihood skills training arm of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). It is a non-stock and nonprofit organization established by its Administration, which aims to help alleviate poverty through its entrepreneurship programs and livelihood projects for Church members.

The brethren serving at the said UNLAD Garment Factory actively participated by inviting their friends and loved ones to listen to the biblical teachings that the Church upholds as their way, among others, of showing God their grateful appreciation of His blessings to the organization as it reached its milestone anniversary. One of them, Karen Yee, a member of the accounting staff, said, “I’ve seen how God helped us in the past 10 years. That’s why whatever activity the Church Administration launches, I find time and exert effort to participate,” she said.

“The brethren, out of their compassion for their fellowmen, united in introducing the Church Of Christ by bringing guests to the evangelical mission,” attested Brother Bienvenido Seguiro Jr., resident minister of the Camp Tinio Congregation, whose house of worship was one of the Bible study venues. “It is our hope that many people will come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved when the Day of Judgment comes.” — With reports from INC News Section
