Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from Versailles, France marked their erstwhile group worship service’s elevation to the status of a full-fledged congregation with a worship service on October 24, 2021.
Brother Marvin Adriano led the brethren at the holy gathering during which they praised and thanked God for this blessing of His, among others, for their spiritual advancement.
Citing God’s words written in the Bible, the district supervising minister reminded the brethren to strive for holiness and spiritual perfection in order to be counted worthy of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.
“The brethren increased in number as many more are being baptized here,” attested Christian Celestino, ministerial worker assigned in the newly established Versailles Local Congregation. “This is a proof that God does not forsake us,” he added, “and this inspired the brethren to be even more active in the faith.”
Reminiscing their congregation’s history, Alvin Lalu, head deacon, enthused, “Thanks to our Lord God, for all His help throughout the years that we went through. Now we have many Church officers who are ready to help the Church Administration in taking care of the members [by] leading them in the proper way of serving God.”
On behalf of the congregation, fellow head deacon, Rico Matanguihan, said, “We thank so much the Church Administration for tirelessly guiding each of us as we uphold our holy obligations. All praises be to God.” — With reports from INC News Section
