Bowling enthusiasts from the local congregations of Vienna Center and Vienna West on May 1, 2023 tested one another’s mettle in an otherwise friendly match sponsored by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO).

Also drawing the interest of new learners of this favorite pastime and game, the said sports activity ultimately aimed to bring the members of the two congregations in Austria closer together and strengthen their bond as brethren in Christ.

“Bowling becomes more interesting when played with the brethren, as it serves as a chance to bond and have fun with them,” said Virmar Garcia, KADIWA president in Vienna Center.

Brother Kevin Luth Heitmann, resident ministerial worker, also said, “Not only did this activity strengthen our faith, but the brotherhood as well. Thus, the spiritual implication of activities like this is these encourage them to also actively participate in other endeavors in the Church.”
