In a special gathering they conducted through videoconferencing, the members of the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) from the Ecclesiastical District of Washington, D.C. offered praises and thanks to the Almighty God for helping them in their studies.

Brother Matthew Capistrano, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gathering held on June 14, 2020, which was also witnessed by the CBI members’ parents. He congratulated the graduates, the students who moved up in their academic level, and their parents for the success that God has given them amid the current crisis.

More significantly, he emphasized in his preaching of God’s words that although it is right to aspire for good education, they should continue to value more the wisdom of God in the Bible as taught by the Church Administration.

After the special gathering, the attendees enjoyed musical performances and virtual games.

Aiming to slow down the spread of Covid-19, school authorities deemed it necessary to cancel traditional graduation ceremonies this year.
