Members of the KADIWA organization from the Wellington Region in the Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand took part in the “KADIWA Meet & Greet” through videoconferencing on July 10, 2020.
Brother Darlito Bolaños, Jr., resident minister, led the activity.
Yna Manlangit, a KADIWA member from Wellington Local Congregation, expressed, “Being able to share my story of faith during the ‘KADIWA Meet & Greet’ is a very blessed experience. I was able to share my journey of becoming a member of the Church and how important our [Church] duties are in overcoming persecutions and struggles in this life.”
Games and activities were provided for the members during the activity. A quiz segment refreshed the members understanding about their organization.
“The KADIWA Meet & Greet is a great way for us to know other KADIWA members in the Wellington Region. Even though we are not gathered together and in our respective homes, still we participate in the activity, which show our unity in the Church,” Joshua Simisim, Wellington Congregation KADIWA president, enthused.
An INC film titled “Esperanza” was also shown. The movie tells about the story of KADIWA members who remained steadfast in their faith amid trials and tests in their life.
“This event made us excited and also more inspired to all the more fulfill our duties. It further strengthened our faith, and also made us appreciate more the value of brotherhood inside the Church Of Christ,” Carla Margarita Eser, a KADIWA officer in the Local Congregation of Wellington, said. ― With reports from INC News Section
