The efforts and sacrifices of all the brethren who were involved in the production of the 2021 INCinema entry of the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe, entitled “Le Meilleur Est À Venir” (The Best is Yet to Come), paid off handsomely as the district bagged multiple awards in the regional EVM Awards held online on September 19, 2021.

Competing with other film entries like “Signs of True Faith” of Italy North, “Sandata” of Italy South, “Sa Gitna Man ng Pandemya” of Mediterranean, “Online” of Northern Europe, “Pakiusap” of Spain, and “One Month Trial” of United Kingdom, Western Europe’s “Le Meilleur Est À Venir” took home ten awards namely, Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Production Design, Best Sound Design, Best Editing, Best in Cinematography, Best Musical Score, and Best Screenplay.

“Participating in such projects and having these types of projects—it’s inspiring,” said Kristine Benedicto, from the Local Congregation of Geneva, Switzerland. “It motivates other brethren to help using their own skills but most especially the stories behind the films.”

“All the brethren are happy—the crew and all those who are watching. It strengthened the faith of everyone,” said David Dimatulac, from the Local Congregation of Marseille, France.

“I thank the Church Administration,” said Dana-Théa, from the Local Congregation of Bastille, France, “for allowing us to hold such kind of activities where we can use our creativity, the skills that God gives us so that we can praise Him all the more.” ― With reports from INC News Section
