Buklod members in various local congregations from the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe expressed joy having attended the special gathering for their Christian Family Organization (CFO) held on December 5, 2021.
“As a new member of the Buklod, it is a special feeling to be part of this organization,” said Robert Tuazon in French, a newlywed from Val d’Oise Congregation. “Receiving teachings from the Church Administration, we learned how to handle situations about family to make us more steadfast in the faith amidst the trials and difficulties in life.”
Brother Marvin Adriano, the district supervising minister, officiated the special gathering from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Val-d’Oise. He taught the brethren a Bible-based lesson to guide them in keeping their families intact in these difficult times. He emphasized in the homily that “caring for the children and guiding them in serving the Lord God are the greatest treasures a parent can give. For if they learn to obey God’s command, they will not depart from it.”
Brethren from other local congregations in the district gathered in their respective houses of worship to attend the said gathering. Other brethren participated through videoconferencing from their homes.
“I learned an important teaching from this special gathering of the Buklod,” said Jocelyn Rigos, a Buklod officer from the Local Congregation of Val-d’Oise, France. “We should teach our children to attend the worship services and not forsake it. They should also participate in all Church activities launched by the Church Administration. No matter what the situation, the problems, and hindrances, we should always put our worship services to God first.”
