The Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe conducted an online evangelical mission from June 1 to 7, 2020.
Church officers and members of all local congregations in the district enthusiastically participated in sharing their faith to their loved ones, friends, and acquaintances out of love and compassion.
Alicia Alejo, a Church officer from the Local Congregation of Marseille, France, said, “It is very important, in this time of crisis, to share our faith. We want people to know that Judgment Day is near and we hope that God will also call them in the true Church Of Christ to receive salvation.”
Although many countries in Europe were in a community quarantine or lockdown imposed by the government due to Covid-19 pandemic, the brethren were still able to intensify the work of propagation. Using the internet, they sent the link of the Church’s official social media pages and websites to their friends and loved ones to invite them to learn about God’s words upheld in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).
“The good thing with the online evangelical mission is that we can still actively perform our duties to share the faith,” Alicia added.
Joshua Alejo, Alicia’s son and also a Church officer, said, “En ligne c’est plus facile de partager sa foi, car ces derniers, temps, les jeunes sont souvent sur leurs téléphones [It is easier to share our faith online, because today, teenagers are always on their phones].” ― With reports from INC News Section
