On June 19, 2021, youth members from the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe bonded through an activity dubbed Binhi Friendship Day. It brought together Binhi members from congregations across France, as well as those from Belgium and Switzerland.

The participants joined the activity through videoconferencing.

“I think this kind of activity helps us keep our Christian values. We know that our membership in the Church Of Christ is most important and that we should not be influenced by others [who disobey] the words of our Lord God,” said Roland-Kian Benedicto, a Binhi officer from the Local Congregation of Geneva, Switzerland.

He added, “Despite the worsening condition [of the world], it is important for us to organize activities like these because it is a way to strengthen our unity as well as our faith in God.”

“It is important to participate in these kinds of activities because it builds up the confidence that we need as young ones like me who are facing difficulties because of the present conditions. This pandemic keeps us away from normal ways of being together with friends, so this activity makes us feel that there are friends around us who care,” said Francesca Lombardi, a Binhi officer from the Local Congregation of Val-d’Oise.

“Thanks to Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for continuing to take care of us so we can all remain in our active services to God,” said Gabrielle Manahan, a Binhi officer from the Local Congregation of Brussels, Belgium. She added, “We are also thankful to the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Coordinator, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, for launching [such] activities to help us improve our life despite the pandemic. ― With reports from INC News Section
