Newly baptized members from the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe were treated to a “Welcome, My Brethren” activity through videoconferencing on April 24, 2021.
The new members participated in virtual games prepared by the Church officers and watched Iglesia Ni Cristo original music video performances by selected brethren.
“I am so glad that the brethren attended this activity and I’m so happy to see them together with the newly baptized members. It is so important to hold an activity like this, so that the new brethren will be introduced to the old ones,” Rosaly Manaois, a Church officer from Marseille, France Local Congregation, said.
Prospective members also attended and enjoyed the activity.
“Activities such as this are relevant for our guests, for doctrinal instructees, and those who are awaiting baptism because in these they will feel welcomed in the Church,” said Nenita Tumbaga, Church officer from the Local Congregation of Marseille, France.
Aside from strengthening the faith of the new members by warmly welcoming them, the brethren also took the opportunity to show to the guests and prospective members the love of brotherhood in the Church. — With reports from INC News Section
