With God’s help amid the pandemic, Church Of Christ members from the Ecclesiastical District of Washington DC witnessed yet another blessing unfold—the establishment of the Winchester Group Worship Service (GWS). Its inaugural worship service was held on October 29, 2020.

Brother Matthew T. Capistrano, district supervising minister, officiated in the momentous event. Health protocols were strictly observed on the whole duration of the occasion.

Judy Kite, one of the brethren, delightedly said, “I am very happy. This is very helpful for us, especially driving almost two hours, one way … now we have a group worship service here.” Likewise grateful, Alyssa Garrett, head secretary said, “Praises be to our Almighty God.”

Inspired for being among the pioneering brethren, Judy added, “We will share our faith with our friends and neighbors in this area. Whatever problem that we have, even the pandemic, we will do our best and fulfill our duties as members of the Church Of Christ.” ― With reports from INC News Section
