Many people’s daily habits have changed unexpectedly due to the pandemic. People had to adapt to the new normal like staying home for a long time, working from home, and doing everyday tasks online.

In an effort to help the brethren cope with these changes, the KADIWA district officers of the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe conducted a district-wide activity dubbed “KADIWA health and lifestyle seminar” on February 21, 2021.

KADIWA members from various local congregations in the district enthusiastically participated in the health awareness activity.

The brethren gained knowledge and learned the importance of mental health, good habits, good routines, and practiced the do’s and don’ts in the new normal.

“Through this kind of activity, we can give additional knowledge and awareness to our brethren when it comes to their health.” Shared Jennelyn Pungtilan, from the Local Congregation of Helsinki, Finland.

She added, “If we have a healthy body and mind, we will be able to remain active inside the Church and perform our duties more effectively.”

Jonalyn Durieux, from Västerås, Sweden Group Worship Service (GWS), stated, “This event aims to inform the brethren of the importance of having a healthy body and healthy lifestyle during this pandemic.”

“I am happy to be a part of this activity for such activities impart knowledge about healthcare to our brethren,” shared Julie Allidem, from the Local Congregation of Helsinki, Finland. “It also gives a sense of accomplishment that I was able to perform my duties, and to participate in such activities being launched by the Church Administration.” ― With reports from INC News Section
