Young brethren from the Local Congregation of Wanchai, Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong connected through videoconferencing to participate in an online health seminar on January 23, 2021.

Jine Lyka San Jose, a health professional who studied Science in Health Fitness and Lifestyle Management, facilitated the activity dubbed as “KADIWA Online Seminar Health 101- Understanding your Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar.” She discussed important facts about blood pressure and sugar and gave the young brethren demonstration on how to use personal medical devices. She also talked about proper eating and diet.

The district KADIWA officers organized the activity that taught the young brethren how to use a manual and digital Sphygmomanometer for blood pressure monitoring and a digital Glucometer for measuring the concentration of glucose in the blood.

The participants were thankful to the Church Administration for conducting such an educational and meaningful activity. This would help the brethren remain healthy and strong, which is very important especially in this time of pandemic. They promised to always participate in all Church activities. ― With reports from INC News Section
