KADIWA and Binhi members from the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia united through songs and music during the online Band Together activity on April 8, 2021.
Young brethren showed their talents in singing. Though apart from each other, their music and voices blended through videoconferencing.
“Music plays a big part of my everyday life, especially now that we are just staying at home. I listen to music when I work, and when I do my household chores. It helps me to be more productive and to focus on what I need to accomplish for today,” said DM Bellen, KADIWA member.
“Activities launched by the Church Administration such as Band Together is important for the youth because in this activity, the members express themselves through music,” said Jed Jasper Santos, KADIWA member.
He added, “It hones their skills in singing and at the same time, music is an effective way to combat stress. According to recent studies, music regulates our blood flow and heartbeat. Thus, music is a therapy for everyone.”
Youth members expressed their gratitude to the Church Administration for such activity that uplifted their spirits for their continued services to the Lord God.
Brother Dino Bellen, resident minister, supervised the activity. He said, “The KADIWA and Binhi Band Together resulted in inspiring and motivating the members to even more unite with the aim and purpose of the Church Administration.” ― With reports from INC News Section
