Teens from the Local Congregation of Heathrow, London, along with other young members from the Group Worship Services (GWS) of Guildford and Reading in the Ecclesiastical District of United Kingdom participated in an online activity dubbed as “Binhi Food International” on January 17, 2021.

Participants worked together in separate teams. They were given assignments of countries to represent. From their respective homes, they started to prepare and cook dishes that the countries they represented is known for.

While cooking, part of the activity was the sharing of information about the various local congregations of countries they represented. Afterwards, they showed the dishes that they prepared.

Katherine Mesina, Binhi member, shared, “We’ve learned many things from the country we represented especially with the food that we made. I have learned to cook independently through this activity.”

Youth members promised that they will actively participate in all Church activities and always be united with the Church Administration.

Brother Markfel Serreno, resident minister of Heathrow, supervised the activity. ― With reports from INC News Section
