KADIWA officers from the Local Congregation of Baoshan, Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan spearheaded a cooking challenge for Christian youth on April 10, 2021.
Youth members residing near the area within the congregation and those who are living in dormitories participated in the activity.
Even though the young Christians are not professional chefs, they still engaged and showed their skills in cooking. Using Tilapia as their main ingredient, the members cooked various dishes. Some of the participants prepared Dinengdeng na Tilapia, Ginataang Tilapia, Cheesy Tilapia cabbage roll, and the winning dish of the event, Dinuyang Tilapia.
“When I was informed that there would be a cooking challenge, I did not hesitate to join the activity because cooking is one of my hobbies,” said Joan Defante, a KADIWA officer.
She added, “Before the activity, I did my research, since Tilapia is our main ingredient, I tried to find different variants for the dish. I have learned so much in this activity.”
The KADIWA members expressed their gratitude for the Church Administration for such activities that strengthen their faith and bond of Christian brotherhood. ― With reports from INC News Section
