“How aware are we of what we watch online? How does everything we watch affect us?” were but some of the questions answered during the Christian Family Youth Summit hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of Spain for members of the KADIWA and Binhi, youth organizations within the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

The activity was held on November 13, 2022 across the district and was facilitated from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Barcelona. A video presentation on some of the pressing issues among today’s youth was first shown to the attendees. After the video presentation, resident ministers and ministerial workers at respective local congregations provided the concluding remarks.

Brother Christian Tantay, district multimedia adviser, who oversaw the activity in Barcelona, reminded the brethren that Church Of Christ members are “Christians all the time, even online.”

“This activity is very useful for the youth because there are times when we are influenced by what we see on the internet,” said Ryza Posilero, Binhi president from the Local Congregation of Madrid. “Thus, it is important to know how to manage what we see online.”

“Instead of just about anything we see online, we were reminded to keep in mind and follow always the words of God. Doing so is part of our continuous worship of Him throughout our lives with all our heart and strength,” said Iris Roxanne Dela Cruz, KADIWA officer from the Local Congregation of Barcelona.

Before the activity ended, attendees in each site took time to participate in several fun games. — With reports from INC News Section
