“I am very thankful to our dearest Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, in launching this kind of activity,” said Kristel Sheen Peñalosa, a Church officer. “This not only inspires us to become more active in participating in all Church endeavors but also strengthens the bond of all the youth in our district,” she added.

The Ecclesiastical District of Agusan Del Norte in the Philippines held the Christian Family Youth Summit on November 13, 2022, at the house of worship of every local congregation.

The highlight of this year’s youth summit event was the viewing of the video presentation, “What You Watch Matters.” It is a short panel discussion telling the attendees to be cautious in using social media platforms. The activity also served as a reminder that true Christians uphold Christian culture and values even online.

“This video presentation is very timely and helpful, especially that a lot of youth nowadays are very active in using social media. Hence, they are susceptible to the influence of so called ‘social media influencers’ or trend-setters,” said Marlou Satorre, a Church officer.

“I am thankful to the Church Administration for launching an activity like this for the youth inside the Church. It truly helps us to be attentive and watchful with our actions to take care of our election,” he further said.—With reports from INC News Section
