The INC Unity Games in the Ecclesiastical District of Zambales North culminated on June 3, 2022. The district finals brought together the best teams and individual competitors in various sports such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, and chess. The sports activity was held at the Botolan People’s Plaza in Botolan, Zambales.

The road to the finals began in elimination matches at the local level and then at the sub-district level, during which teams and players in neighboring local congregations faced each other. In the finals, the local congregations in the towns of Sta. Cruz, Candelaria, and Masinloc were represented by the Northern team, while those from Palauig, Iba, and Botolan by the Southern Team.

In basketball, the Northern Team won the Buklod and Binhi categories, while the Southern Team won the KADIWA category. In volleyball, the Southern Team won the women’s division, whereas the Northern Team won the men’s. Winners received awards in the individual events.

“Throughout the games, the brethren maintained camaraderie and sportsmanship. The activity brought activeness to them,” Brother Manuel Vinuya, the district CFO overseer, said.
